I’m Krista. A therapist, but first and always, a human who knows what it’s like to hold things in.

Maybe you’ve spent years holding it together on the outside, showing up, pushing through, while something quieter underneath keeps pulling at you. Maybe you’ve been told you’re “strong,” but no one ever asked what that strength cost you.

I get it, not just from training, but from lived experience. Therapy, for me, was the first place it felt safe enough to stop performing strength and start being real. That’s why this work matters to me. That’s why Beneath the Noise exists.

It’s not about fixing you. It’s about meeting the parts of you that got silenced, pushed down, or lost in the noise, and learning how to listen to them. Not perfectly. Not quickly. But honestly.

FAQs

How I Work
I’m a BACP-accredited therapist. My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and collaborative, which means we go at your pace.

This isn’t about me sitting in silence while you try to guess what I’m thinking. I’m warm, thoughtful, and straightforward. I’ll ask questions, reflect things back, and help you make sense of what’s showing up. Whether it’s happening now or something you’ve carried for a long time.

Some people want to understand the roots. Others are simply trying to get through the day-to-day. There’s space for both.

Why ‘Beneath the Noise’?
Because that’s where the real work happens.

Beneath the overwhelm. Beneath the coping. Beneath the pressure to hold it together. Beneath the noise of everything that told you who you should be: there’s you.

Not a perfect version. Not a fixed version. Just something more honest. More human.
