  • That’s completely normal. Most people feel unsure before their first session. There’s no expectation to dive into anything before you’re ready. We’ll go gently, at your pace, and take the time to build safety and trust.

  • The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. You can share as much or as little as you like. We’ll explore what brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and how we might work together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out.

  • You don’t need to arrive with a plan. Many people simply say, “I don’t know where to begin,” and we take it from there. It’s completely okay. We’ll find the starting point together.

  • It’s okay to feel whatever you feel here. Therapy is a place where emotions are welcome, not judged or rushed. We’ll move through things gently and with care.

  • Absolutely. You don’t need to hit a breaking point before reaching out. Many people come to therapy simply because they want to understand themselves better, break patterns, or feel more grounded in their lives.

  • That’s really common. You’re welcome to reach out even if one of you feels unsure. We can explore what feels difficult about starting, and what each of you might need to feel safe enough to take the next step.

  • Not unless it feels helpful for you. Some people like practices or reflections between sessions, others prefer to keep the work inside the room. We’ll decide together what supports you best.

  • If you’re unsure whether I work with something specific, feel free to book an intro call or send me a message.

  • It varies widely. Some come for short-term support around a specific issue.

    Others stay longer as deeper patterns and themes unfold.

    There’s no right or wrong timeline.

  • Yes. I work with clients online across the UK, as well as in-person in Manchester.

  • I currently offer daytime sessions; feel free to reach out if you have specific scheduling needs.

  • I ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

    Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are chargeable.
